Irish Landscapes on Twitter to sooth your soul

Posted by Caitriona Considine on

As disappointing as it is for people in Ireland to have to stay inside during the lovely weather we are having at the moment, Irish people who are away and have to isolate in another country are also finding it difficult to be away from home at this time.

One of these is Roscommon actor Chris O'Dowd, who is currently isolating with his family in his home in Los Angeles.

He took to Twitter on Easter Sunday to ask for some photos of Ireland as he was feeling home sick during the day.

There were hundreds of responses with stunning images.

Thanks lots to the folks in FM104 for sharing a selection of the responses and including the Moher Cottage photos at:

Chris seemed to be more than impressed with all the images he received as he took to Twitter again two days later  encouraging others to take a look at his threa:

"If anyone needs soothing to massage your troubled soul, please check out the beautiful images in reply to this request for Irish landscapes".

So for today’s #MoherMoment do take a look at these photos and maybe you will find they soothe your soul 💚

Join us tomorrow for some Meanderings, Memories and More… from Moher Cottage, St. Brigid's Well, Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare, Ireland

Take Care all until we travel again.
